James Tyler Jr

James Louis Tyler, Jr. was born September 16, 1958 to Sandra and James Louis Tyler, Sr. in Columbus, Ohio. A graduate of Columbus Public Schools, James also studied at Columbus State Community College and The Ohio State University. James was a State of Ohio Correctional Officer where he served until the time of his passing. James was united in holy matrimony to Angela Moore on July 19, 1997. They recently celebrated twenty years of marriage and shared two loving children. James delighted in his children; he enjoyed watching them grow and mature into wonderful young adults. With a smile that could light up a room, James had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as hitting the gym daily, chatting with friends, and spending time with family. On August 31, 2017, at the age of 58, James went home to be with the Lord. His sister, Sandra “Candy”, preceded him in death. James leaves to carry on his memory and legacy, his wife, Angela; his children, Ja’Cree and Ja’Kara; his mother, Sandra Tyler; father, James Louis Tyler, Sr.; and five sisters, Vernell, Mary, Tina, Tonya, and Linda. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, four sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, and friends.
