James Harvey Simpson, age 61, departed this life February 4, 2012 unexpected at his residence. Proceeded in death by his father, Hugh Simpson; his brother, William A Simpson. Survived by his mother, Helen Simpson; two sons, Vernon “Skeeter” Skipper and Shawn (Kim) Skipper; wife, Saundra Simpson; mother of his children and special friend, Lottie Skipper; stepson, William McCauley; stepdaughters, Debra McCauley; Frances (Robert) Dorsey; sisters, Theresa (Percy) Moore; Annie Howard; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Simpson; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
