James Edward Harrell

James Edward Harrell departed this life July 10, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years, Vira Harrell; parents Tony and Maude Harrell; siblings, Joseph, Donald, Tony, Ralph, Leon and Jackie Harrell. His memories will be cherished by his daughters Marvina Johnson and Janice Irby; siblings, Rupert (Catherine) Harrell, special brother Wayman (Ann) Harrell, Katherine Lipsey, Elinor Harris, Martha Jean Davis, and Joann (Thomas) Baity; sisters-,in-law, Clara Giles, Patricia Harrell and Emma Harrell; seven grandchildren, James Snow, Sonya Irby, Sanobia Johnson, Bryan Irby, Dorreetha Irby, Timba Johnson, and Joseph Gilbert; twelve great-grandchildren, Dorian Coleman, Natasha Roquemore, Michael Allen, Elisha Martin, Kevin Snow, Dominique Franks, Davon Lunsford, Porscha Snow, Zachary Stewart, Tiffany Snow, Stefon Meeks, and Brittany Snow; seven great-great-grandchildren, Mikelle Hayes, Anthony Martin, Tyler Martin, K’Naiya McGrew, Malakai Dudley, Cashmere Snow, Kaydence McGrew; special niece Merlene (Donald) Coulter, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. James retired from Timkin Roller Bearing company and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW and American legion, and enjoyed fishing. But most of all he loved his family including his loyal dog Pepe.
