October 18, 1918 — July 25, 2013
James O. Buford, age 94, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. A WWII/Pearl Harbor Veteran and faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church. Predeceased by son William Buford, stepdaughter Alma Sowell, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Survived by wife Selma H. Buford; son Julian (Doris Ann) Buford of Murfreesboro, TN; sister Laura O’Neil of St. Paul, MN; beloved niece Barbara Patton of Columbus, OH; stepchildren, Milton and Ronnie Ware, Shirley (Grover) Franklin, Pamela (Cecil) Newlin, Carol Haile, and Jim Martin; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, special little buddy Rubie Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
