James Alexander Cox

James Alexander Cox, 80, born March 18, 1935 in Lake, MS to William Lee and Zalia Mae Cox, departed this life Sunday, March 29, 2015. James proudly served in the United States Army. In 1968, he began working for Anderson Concrete Company, and retired on May 9, 1997. He is predeceased by parents William Lee Cox and Zalia Mae Cox, sisters Mattie Lois Mason, Edna Mae ( Clemon) Tatum, and Sally Cox, and brother Howard Cox. He leaves to cherish his memory, very special person in his life, Patricia Johnson; son, Rickie Belle; brothers, Joseph (Mattie) Cox of Columbus, Ohio, Louie (Barbara) Cox of Columbus, Ohio, and Woodrow (Sarah) Cox of Jackson, Mississippi; sisters, Virginia Mae Cox of Columbus, Ohio, and Shirley (Curtis) Holloway of Raleigh, Mississippi; special niece and nephew, Merena (Amos) Cox, and Chris Holloway; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
