Jackie was Born to her Late Father Mr. Robert Toland and Late Mother Mrs.Lee Ann Jenkins (Toland). She was the Granddaughter of the Late Pastor N.W. Wooten and Late Sister Maggie L. Wooten, Jackie was preceded in death by her Grandparents Pastor N.W. Wooten and Sister Maggie L. Wooten, her Mother Mrs. Lee Ann Jenkins and her Father Mr. Robert Toland., Former Husband Mr.Philip Cardwell, and her Son Tony Cardwell.,2 Aunts: Mrs. Willa Mae Payton(Trudell), Mrs.Mittie Hearns, her Uncle Mr. Johnnie Wooten Sr., her cousin Mr. Johnnie Wooten Jr.and a host of family members and friends who were dear to her heart.
She leaves to mourn her death 2 Sisters Marlene Jenkins (Davenport) and Carol Jenkins, her Sister-Cousin Rev. Patricia A Hoover-Byrd (Anthony) her Special brother Horace Miller Jr., and her dear friend Mr.James Anthony (Tony) Coleman, a host of Nephews, Nieces ,Cousins, Friends and loved ones.
Jackie was an avid member of the St.John Baptist Church under the Pastorate of the Late Rev. N.W. Wooten and the Late Rev. Winston King. Jackie was a great singer, she was a member of the Inspirational Choir of the St. John Baptist Church under the Leadership of Sis.Helen Alexander a, renowned musician and singer. After an extended illness Jackie passed from this life on Sunday June 28, 2026. Jackie was a lover of music of all kinds including Quartet Music. Her favorite group was the Gospel Keynotes, The Gospel Clouds of Joy, and The Gospel Recruiters.
Jackie had a special bond for family and friends and was enjoyed by all who met her. As Jackie enters into her eternal rest she will be remembered with love by her family and friends. She had a special bond of love with her younger sisters and their families and loved ones.
