Isaac Andrews, Sr.

Andrews, Isaac “Ike”, 81 of Columbus, OH passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. He was born in Griffin, GA on September 9, 1938, to the late Riley and Mattie Lou (Battle) Andrews Sr. Ike attended Central H. S. He was preceded in death by his son: Isaac Andrews Jr.; granddaughter and his brother: Grady Andrews. Ike is survived by his daughters: Regina Andrews Williams (Frederick) of Centerville, OH, Joy Gainey of Fayetteville, NC; sons: John Merrion (Regina), Todd Merrion, Casey Andrews (Jasmine) of IN; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother: Riley “Ned” Andrews (Carolyn); sister in-law: Syvera Andrews, special nephew Grady La Mont Andrews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Ike will be held on February 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Eastway Village Apartments (Community Room), 4253 E. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213.
