Henry Lee Lockett, 71, passed on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Retired from Turner Construction Company (Local 423). Preceded in death by parents Elbert and Bessie Lockett; grandmother Edie Dent; brother John Lee Lockett; daughter Darlene Lockett; grandchildren Terry Whitesides, Lamont Cumberlander, Stephon Womick and Daeonna Lockett. He leaves to mourn his wife of 47 years, Dorothy Lockett; children, Linda (Claude) Whitesides, Henry Dixon, Robert Lockett, John Lockett, Allen (Richelle) Dixon, Kia Porter, Anthony Gibbs, Carlos Gibb and Arsenio Lockett; sisters, Bessie Sanders and Sadie Kemper; brother, L.C. (Lucille) Lockett of Roberta, GA; aunts, Mary L. Davis of Musella, GA and Tommie Dent of Cullodon, GA; sisters-in-law, Susie Lockett, Alfreda (Lonnie) Melvin and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; best friends, Steve Brown and Roland Martin.
