Helen Carney

Helen Scott Carney was born September 17, 1921 to Charles Ellsworth Scott and Mamie McClure Scott in Columbus, Ohio. She retired from Chemical Abstracts where she worked as a data processor for many years. A church missionary and choir member, Helen enjoyed singing, shopping, and crocheting. On Sunday, February 4, 2018, at the age of 96, Helen was called home to be with the Lord while at her daughter's residence in Fayetteville, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Kenneth E. Butts, John L. Butts, and Joseph W. Butts. Left to cherish memories of Helen are her daughters, Sylvia A. Robinson of Niagara Falls, New York, and Brenda K. (Harry) Belton of Fayetteville, North Carolina; son Keith R. Price of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
