Geraldine Lorraine Thompson

It is with a heavy heart and a joyous soul that we announce the passing of our dear mother Geraldine (Gerri) Hollingsworth – Thompson. Age 60, Gerri was born in Columbus to Gerald and Bertha (Bell) Hollingsworth on March 28, 1962.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Bertha Hollingsworth and Gerald Hollingsworth grandparents; Archie and Viola Armstrong and Charles Hollingsworth, brother; Andre Bell, sister; Viola (Puddin) Hollingsworth – Turner, aunt; Florida Johnson, Lavonna Kincaid and Shirley White, Uncles; Robert Simons, Ralph Simons and Virgil Hollingsworth, nephew; William Hollingsworth.

Gerri graduated from Central High School in Columbus Ohio class of 1980.  She received her certification in nursing assistance in 2008 from TEC.  It was her passion helping people and the elderly.  Gerri always had her grandchildren or someone else children around her as she loved children. Gerri loved playing the lottery and going to the Casino. Scioto was her favorite.

Gerri leaves to mourn, yet rejoicing in her memory, children; son; Michael Hollingsworth, daughters; Ericka Tribune and Johniece Tribune, grandchildren; Quantel, Chantel and Eternity Ranson, Arneisha and Artonio Woolfork, Marquise, Dream, SirQuise and True Sheppard, Isaish Unger, Jacori and Kamarreah Hollingsworth, brother Wendall Hollingsworth aunt’s; Dorothy(Eddie) Stanley, Saundra(Charles) Davis, uncle; Dr Charles Hollingsworth, nieces; Apryl, Latosha and Ashlei Hollingsworth Lavonna Willams, Tanera Adams and Consuela Perry;  nephew Anthony Brown special cousins who were like brothers and sisters to her; Melvin Howard, Eugene Fambro III, Anita Bridges, Bestfriend Myrna Taylor and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
