Gerald Mcgee

Gerald McGee, 73, passed on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Gerald was a graduate of Central High School and The Ohio State University. Gerald was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, retired Columbus Public School Teacher, Freelance Photographer for the Columbus Dispatch an accomplished Equestrian, 1st Degree Black Belt and a licensed Pilot. He enjoyed life to its fullest never meeting a stranger. He is preceded in death by his father Jack R. McGee; wife Marilyn S. McGee. He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Marlana (Quinn) Carter, Jeremy (Megan) McGee, Megan (John) McMullin, Randall (Margot) McGee, Juli (Steve) DeGraw; mother, Frankie L. McGee; sisters, Margret Shephard and Marybelle Binford; grandchildren, Kiana, Alison, Kieran, Owen, Jackson and Beckett; great-grandchildren, Jalen, Justin and Jordan; favorite uncle, Herbert McGee and a host of other family and friends.
