Geneva Smith

Geneva M. Smith Williams, 64, Columbus Ohio, Sunset: April 18, 2025.

Geneva was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 8, 1961, to the late John Wooten Jr and Barbara Williams Nutt. She is preceded in death by her father and mother; grandparents, Geneva and Lee Williams; brothers, Tyrone Byrd and Kevin Williams; cousin, Barbara Lewis. Surviving family, daughter, Cicely Williams; sons, Lowell Broady and Virgil Broady; sisters, Kim Williams, Roselyn Williams, Lisa Williams and Margaret (Marvin) Houston; brothers, Fred Williams and Andre Williams; grandchild, Isyss Broady; cousins, Billy Lewis, James Hardemon, Diane Lewis, Debbie Jones, many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Geneva had traveled to Germany and many states in the US. She was a natural born leader, taking on manager positions with Church's Fried Chicken and Walmart, to name a few. She was a big fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. Geneva had a big heart and a laugh that would bring joy everywhere she went. She attended Columbus Public Schools, loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with close friends, Vollena and Carolyn and significant other, Brian Timberlake.
