Felicia Diane Campbell

Our beloved Felica D Campbell “Lisa” went home to be with the lord on Febarury 21, 2021 at the early age of 48. Felicia was born August 13, 1972 to Patricia Kirk Payton and Earl Hosey Sr. in Laurel Mississippi.  Felicia was educated in the Laurel School System, where she also was a member of the softball team as well as the marching band.  Felicia graduated from R H Watkins High School class of 1990.

Shortly after graduating Felicia gave birth to her only son LeDarius Hosey. Felicia then relocated to Columbus, Ohio in 1992, when she then reunited with her best friend middle school sweetheart David Campbell who she then married on June 28, 1996. Felicia and David has been in a loving, caring, and respectful relationship for over 35 yrs. In 2006 Felicia and David were blessed with a baby girl who they named DayVonah. Felicia worked as a bank auditor for many years, one thing about Felicia she could count backwards and forwards up one side and down another.

She enjoyed singing, dancing, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. But her love was cooking, and baking everyone who knew her knew that they could always come and get a plate.  Felicia was known to family and close friends as “BG” (body guard). She was the best friend anyone could ask for. The type of friend that you could call on anytime day or night. If you needed a place to stay, a meal, a ride, money, babysitter, listening ear, whatever your needs were she was there. She loved to support the kids, she treated all the kids like they were her own, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved them, but they loved her more.

Felicia is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Payton Kirk, grandmothers Martha Hosey and Mary kirk, Felicia is survived by her father Early Hosey Sr, Husband David Campbell (Cols,Ohio), Son LeDarius Hosey , Devonte Campbell, daughter DayVonah Campbell, Brothers Vincent Kirk Sr (Evelyn) (Cols,Ohio)  and Earl Hosey Jr, (Laurel,MS) Sisters Sandy Jones (Ellisville) and Keisha Bounds (Laurel,MS) mother in-law Lennie Campbell (Cols, Ohio) and God son Willie Barnes (Cols, Ohio), A host of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sister in-laws and friends.
