Esther Martin, “Hollywood” as she was affectionately called, was born February, 4, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio to Reverend Willie and Elizabeth Watters. She attended Columbus Public Schools where she graduated from East High School. Esther retired from Isabelle Ridgeway Care Center after many years of service. Esther was a member of Empowerment Deliverance Ministries. She loved attending church and reading the bible. She also enjoyed listening to gospel music and spending time with her family. On Tuesday June 30, 2020 Esther transitioned from labor to reward. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Willie and Elizabeth Watters, son Steve B. Watters, sisters Edith Macafee, Betty Stewart, Regina Ferguson, Linda Watters, Judith Hams, and Kathy Watters, and brother Gary Watters. She leaves to continue her legacy her children, Tommie (Jakie) Watters, Brenda (Chris) Milsap, Marvita McKaskill, Todd (Amber) Martin, Robin (Mequel) Christian, and Tanisha Watters; siblings, Cassandra Watters, Sharon Watters, and Alwin Watters; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Beginning at 1:00 pm, doors will open for a walk-through viewing with staggered admission of up to 10 people at a time. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Esther's memorial celebration wall to view her video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
