Eric Lynn Anderson, age 67, passed away at home peacefully on August 27, 2026. He was born
on June 30, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio, to his beloved mother, Osie Anderson.
After graduating from high school, Eric joined the United States Army and was stationed at Fort
Bragg, North Carolina military base. His service reflected and ignited a desire for commitment,
discipline, and dedication to helping others.

Eric relocated to Columbus, Ohio and was a member and employee of Rhema Christian Center,
where he met his loving wife, Gloria. Their relationship grew into a beautiful friendship and
marriage, and together they celebrated 28 years of love, partnership, and devotion. They became
a family of four and raised two adult sons, Eric II and Desmond. Eric took immense pride in his
role as a father and grandfather passing down life lessons about strength, courage, family, and
perseverance to his sons and grandchildren.

Eric attended college and pursued a degree in Chemical Dependency. He obtained his (CDCA)
Chemical Dependency Counseling Assistant certification and became a Substance Use
Counselor, dedicating his work to supporting and encouraging individuals on their path toward
healing and recovery.

Eric will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gloria; his sons, Eric II and Desmond; his mother,
Osie; his brothers, Ronald (Ruth) and Timothy (Cathy); his grandchildren, Christian, Dominic,
Donovan, Nia, and Sekani; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Eric’s life was marked by his faith, service, love, and a heartfelt desire to make a difference in
the lives of others. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved
him.
