Eloise Norris 96, of columbus, Ohio, passed away July 9, 2026 at Otterbein Gahanna Senior Life Nursing Home. Eloise was born to the late Robert Norris and Bessie Norris in Aiken, South Carolina.

Eloise is preceded in death by her mother Bessie Norris, her father Robert Norris, her son Michael Norris (Abdullah), sisters, Helen Norris, Nona Mckinney, and her nephew David.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her daughter Janice Norris-Spruiel, her son Steven C. Norris (Jovelyn) Norris, eight grandchildren, Timothy, Juliana, Eloise, Stephanie, Steven E, Tatiana R. , Steven Deshawn, one great grandchild Tamyah J., two nephews, Darrell and Rickie and a host of nieces, cousins.

She worked for United States Postal Service for 25-30 years. She loved the Lord, early retirement and loved everyone. Eloise was loved, full of joy, laughter, and a smile that lit the room up. She was always helping someone in need rather it was good or bad. She never judged anyone.

She will be missed but she is in God’s arms and at peace.

Friends will be received for Visitation at Trinity Baptist Church at on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, followed immediately by Funeral Services.
