Elder Benjamin Shuler

July 18, 1939 — February 24, 2020

Benjamin Shuler, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 11:05 p.m. He was born July 18, 1939 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1966 after living many years in Philadelphia, PA.

In 1975 he married Elizabeth Ann Shuler. They had a wonderful bond and where the perfect couple. Ben worked for COTA, the Christopher Inn, and later retired as a manager from Speedway. Although retired, he chose to work again at Lens Crafters. He was faithful member of the International Center at 220 Miller Avenue where he was called into the ministry. Ben went home to be with Lord on Monday, February 24, 2020. He is survived by his devoted wife Elizabeth Shuler, Jacqueline (Michael) Skinner (Daughter), Tony Shuler (Son), Melvin Shuler (Son), Trecie (Toney) Shuler-Palmore (Daughter),  Andre Shuler (Son), Albert (Shirley) Shuler (Brother), Georgia Odallo (Sister) Charlene Shuler (Sister), Randy Shuler (Brother), 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a host of loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents George Shuler (Father), Virgie Lee Shuler (Mother), C.W Shuler (Brother), Cynthia Howard (Daughter), and Brandon Shuler (Grandson).
