Edward Wright “Fast Eddie” Elliott, age 91, born May 23, 1924, passed from this life to his heavenly life at 11:07 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Dayton V.A. Hospice Facility; Dayton, OH. Proceeded in death by parents, Henrietta Steel Elliott Evans and James Edward Elliott; stepfather, William Evans, brother, George Armon Elliott (Lois); children’s mother, Edith Elnora Jennings Elliott; second wife, Hattie Finch Elliott; son, Edward Dwight Elliott; son-in-law, Derrick Erwin Taylor. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Teresa D. (James) Waugh, of Dallas, TX; James W. Elliott, of Blackjack, MO; Denice R. Taylor, of Columbus, OH; 10 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; and: many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
