Edward Haynes Sr

Edward S. Haynes, Sr., age 61, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 26, 2011. A U.S. Army veteran and worked as a pattern maker for nearly 40 years. Ed was a master mechanic, always willing to lend a hand to keep friends and family going. Preceded in death by parents George Sr. and Elizabeth, siblings Ronald, Bernice, Steven, and George Jr. Survived by wife Frances; daughter Lisa and son Edward Jr. (Altavez); grandchildren Edward Kenny and Edward III; sisters Madge and Norma; brother James Sr.; and a host of loving family and friends. Celebration of Life 3 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2011 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long Street, with family receiving friends from 2 p.m. until start of service. Pastor Charlene Watkins, officiating. Interment Talcott Cemetery, Talcott, WV.
