Dixie Provo, 76, passed away March 30, 2011. Preceded in death by husband, Rev. W. J. Provo and father, Jerome Thompson. Survived by mother, Roxie A. Provo; children, Derrick Provo, Sr. and Felisa Provo; grandchildren, Derrick (Sherese) Provo, Jr., Derrell (Ciera) Provo, Kevin Martin, Jr., Mark Alston and Marte' Durham; great-grandchildren, Maryah Provo, Amirah Provo, Kevin Martin III, Dayvion Harris and Keiara Alston; sisters, Margie Moore and Lula Hawes; aunt, Mattie Veasey; devoted friend, Marion Armstrong; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
