Delores Marie Wright

DELORES MARIE WRIGHT, 87 of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away on February 19, 2019, with part of her family by her side, at Emory Decatur Hospital.

She was born to William Sidney and LouDella (Person) Flukers on August 7, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio.  Delores attended Central High School in Columbus, Ohio.

She was married to the late Richard Clarence Tanner and in this union were seven (7) children.She later was remarried to the late Archie Marcellus Sutton and in this union were two (2) children.  Afterwards she was married to the late Wallace Eugene Wright and in this union were three (3) children.

Delores was raised in Columbus, Ohio and lived there until she became sick then moved to StoneMountain. , GA in 2012 with her daughter and son-in-law.

Delores worked as a child care provider for many years and cared only for her grand children and great grand children.

Delores loved her family and was always surrounded by them.  They celebrated all holidays and her birthday at her home until her illness in 2008.  But afterwards the celebration continued through her family each year on her birthday in August.

Delores preceded in death by her parents; four (4) sons, Richard Clarence , Wayne Leroy, Marvin Tanner and Archie Monroe Sutton.  Six (6) grand children, Frank D'Angelo Green, Tonya Lynn Thompson, Richard Riggins Tanner, Jeffery Vaness Tanner, Latasha Travis Mayo, Thomas Goldsmith and Queone Wright; one grandson, Tyquan Hawkins Scruggs and one (1) great great grand daughter, Deziera Thompson.

Delores is survived by eight (8) daughters; Sharon Lorraine (Mohammed) Green; Delphia Marie (Hayes) Hemphill; Katrinka Ann (Lamar) Baxter ; Pauline (Clarence) Huntley; Marcella (Earl) Redman; Annette Winifred (Harold) Riggins; Deborah Jean (Fred) Coleman and Darlene Wright. Thirty-three(45) grand children; twenty-six (32)great grand children; fifteen (20) great great grand children and two (2) great great great grand children.
