Deacon Earl Baker Jr

Deacon Earl T. Baker, Jr., 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2015. A graduate of East High School and retired from Columbia Gas after 35 years. Deacon Baker was a faithful servant of the Sigsbee Avenue Church of God where his grandparents the late Elder Edward Bridges and Edna Bridges founded the church. He served in many capacities including, Deacon, Trustee, SS Teacher and Worship Leader. He is preceded in death by parents, Eloise Bridges Baker, Earl Baker, Sr. He is survived by devoted wife, Valerie (Moorehead) Baker of 46 years; sons, Earl R. Baker and Ryan (Lindsey) Baker; brother, Richard (DeLois) Perry; sister, Lucinda (Marvin) Mix; sister-in-law, Donna (Daryl) Cummings; beloved grandchildren, Unique Baker, Ryan Baker, Lehonesty, Isaiah, Clarissa, Casey, Sophia and a host of family members and friends.
