Davionte (Tay-lon) Jamal Perry Cain
On Tuesday, July 13, 2021 Davionte, a loving son, brother, father of seven passed away unexpectedly at the age of twenty four. He was born August 11, 1996, to Linda D. Perry and Shannon Cain.
Raised with four brothers, and two sisters. Davionte graduated from Rutherford B. Hayes High School of Delaware County. He loved music, art, and rapping. As a child he sucked his thumb, sitting on the couch rocking to almost any beat and lyric he heard. It did not matter whether it was his CD player, TV commercial, or rapping whatever rap he made up along the way. Basketball was his favorite sport; above all he loved his children and family.
Davionte was proceeded in death by his mother Linda Perry, grandmothers Shirley Hairston, Janet Cain, aunt Dorene Perry who all cared for him during his childhood.
Davionte is survived by his sisters Toinika Perry and Monte Terry. Brothers Devon Perry, Monteck Dawson, J’von Cain, D’Angelon Cain, with other siblings not listed. Children, Gabriella Gillespe, Sevanna Cain, Shanelle Cain, Davionte’ Jamal J. Silas Cain, Ezekiel Cai, Denise Cain, and lifelong partner Shannon Price. Davionte will be missed by many, live through his children and surviving family. He will also be remembered by music, videos, and pictures left behind as a keepsake of his life.
