Darryl Scott Patterson

Patterson, Darryl “Scottie” 1958-2020 passed suddenly at The James Cancer Center on July 4 at the age of 61 after a long heroic fight with cancer. Darryl preceded in death by parents Elmore and Gloria (Davis) Patterson; daughter Tamika Patterson; brothers Elmore (Billy), Wayne, David, Kenzel, Michael Patterson, and Tony Augustine. He survived by siblings Tracy Patterson and Crystal (Patterson) Augustine; children Darryl Jones, Darryl, Monique, and Deshay Patterson (Ruby Broomfield-Patterson); a host of grandchildren; and infinite loving family and friends. Darryl worked at Job Core in New York, Columbus- Gospel Tabernacle Food Pantry where he received multiple awards for his dedication, and Augustine Painting & Maintenance Co.
