Darrin Felix 'Bird' Mitchell

Darrin Felix Mitchell, known to his friends as Bird, was born February 20, 1981 to Walter Felix Mitchell and Gwendolyn Marlene Viney Mitchell in Columbus, Ohio. Darrin, a former student at Mifflin High School, was an avid sports fan and video gamer. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his three sons who were his pride and joy. On December 17, 2016, at the age of 35, Darrin departed this life while at Grant Medical Center. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his sons, Taleal, Davion, and Darrin Jr.; brother Vindwell Viney; godmothers, Prophetess Delores Bland and Margaret Cooper; special friends, Derrick and Denise Jeter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
