She is preceded in death by father Charles Lee Hampton; mother Mary Ellen Purnell and sister Vernette Hampton-Strickland. She is survived by her loving children, Yolanda (Hampton) Joe, Seniqua Berger, Johnny Berger Jr. and cherished grandson, Corey R. Joe.
