Crystal R. Scroggins

Crystal Roxanne (Young) Scroggins age 58, was born on December 13,1966 to Sherman Johnson and Brenda Agbon- Lahor in Providence Rhode Island. She relocated to Ohio, where she became a longtime resident.

Crystal dedicated 17 years to serve others as a devoted nurse while balancing compassion, strength, and family every step of the way. She was a social butterfly that knew no strangers with her willingness to always give without expecting in return. She was the kind of mother who loved fearlessly and selflessly, and there was nothing that she would not do without hesitation for her children. She touched the lives of many.

On December 11, 2025 Crystal Scroggins transitioned from this life to her homecoming. She was preceded in death by her parents: Sherman Johnson (Father) and Brenda Agbon- Lahor (Mother). Her son Trenton Allen Lamar Scroggins her stepdaughter Natia Blue Scroggins, her siblings Osra Young(sister) and Cija Young Jennings(sister).

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons Andre Young and Nathan Scroggins, three daughters Tionah Young, Natiesha Scroggins and Tierra Scroggins. Twenty- one grandchildren including: De’Aundrenaye Young, Nathan Scroggins Jr., Tishell Williams, Shawntique Sims, Ta’Liya Young and two great grandchildren, six siblings: Craig Young, Truddie- Ann Etchison- Reid, Antoinette Young, Turquoise Davis, Amadin Agbon - Lahor, Johnetta Agbon - Lahor and many other cherished loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a Funeral Service immediately following at Diehl-Whittaker 1370 East Main Street Columbus, Ohio 43205.
