Christine Diane Jacobs

Christine D. (Perry) Jacobs, 68, born on November 22, 1946 was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 31, 2015. Christine was a graduate of Central High School and retired from Kroger’s Bakery after 41 years of employment. Christine served as a baptized believer in Christ all her life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She is preceded in death by husbands, Eugene G. Perry, Lee Jacobs; birth mother, Christine Washington and mother who raised and adopted her, Virginia McCellan; father, Vernon Washington; special sister, Rayla R. McCoy. She is survived by one son, Timothy Perry, Sr., aunt, Mildred Thompson; grandchildren, Timika Perry, Timothy (Nina) Perry Jr., HC Core, Troy Jenkins, TaShella Jenkins; 14 great-grand children; special sisters, Gloria Gary, Linda Wilkes and the Browning/Sicery Families and a host of friends and family.
