Chester Lee Jones

Chester Lee Jones was born in Memphis Tennessee to Johnny Jones and Henry Etta Landers on March 20, 1943. Chester came to Columbus Ohio in 1970 where he worked as a construction worker helping build Worthington Ohio. Chester was also a Brother of The International Modern Masons, Faith Chapter in Columbus Ohio. He departed from this life on Wednesday,  October 17, 2018 at Mt Carmel Hospital East of Columbus. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Janella Jones; his brother Johnny Jones and son Roy Lee Jones. Chester is survived by his brothers,  Robert Jones,  Booker T Jones, and Buddy Jones; his sisters Henry Etta James, Pearl Dickerson, Ollie Mae Jones, and Milgra Jones; his children Booker T Jones,  Timothy Forrest,  Jeffery Myers, Jerome Jones, David Meyers, Monica Jones, Mary Louise Knowles,and Peggy Evan; also a host of grandchildren including Christen and Breyanna Griffin;  great grandchildren;  nieces, nephews, cousins, and in laws including special sister in law Lisa Forrest.
