Charles Joseph Gudger

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Charles “Chuckie” Gudger who left us on May 23rd, 2023. Charles who was known as Chucky to many, was born on December 30th, 1958. Though a man of few words, his outgoing, funny, and charming personality resonated with everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. Charles is preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Ann Richardson Gudger brothers, Anthony and Micheal Gudger and wife Cassandra Gudger. Survived by his daughters Angelique (Robert)Bowers, Christina (Jermaine)Wilson, Jordan Sanford; Sons, Denta Mack and Charles Morgan. Fifteen grandchildren including Chajuan Jones and Deonte Mack and four great grandchildren; Sisters Karen (Barbara) Gudger, Marguerite Gudger, and Yolanda Bachus. He is also survived by his estranged wife. Girlfriend Sunday Milner; Best friend Dr. Durado Brooks and special lifetime friends Martha Mack and Tania Brown.

Family played an important role in Charles life, and his legacy will continue to shine through his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren

Charles warmth and charisma attracted a wide circle of friends who will miss him dearly. He had an uncanny ability to make people feel welcome, and he was always the life of any gathering. His memory will forever be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

We take solace in the knowledge that Charles has left anindelible mark on the lives of so many and that his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. As we mourn his passing, let us celebrate the life of a man who made this world a brighter place with his presence.
