Charles Edwin Alston

Charles Alston, at age 77 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

He was born March 22, 1944 to parents Charles Edward Alston and Lucy Kay Neely. Charles worked at Federal Glass, Rockwell International and retired from General Motors. He earned his degree in Business from CTI. He loved his Buckeyes, music, fishing, and most of all his family.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents Charles Edward Alston and Lucy Kay Neely; brother, Maurice Neely. He has left to cherish his memory; brother, Vincent Neely; sons, Michael David Alston and Charles Edwin Alston Jr. (Tara); daughter, Gloria Lynn Alston; grandchildren; Aaron Prysock, Taylor Alston, Trinity Alston, Kylie Clemons, Jazz Mitchell (Brittany), Ciera Alston, Michael Alston Jr., Taryn Hutchinson (Nicole); 10 great grandchildren; extended family; sisters, Delores Black and Diane Holmes; brother Walter Russell and a host of other relatives and friends.

Charles will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
