Charlene Elizabeth Robinson was born on March 26, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio. On the morning of August 5, 2026, she peacefully transitioned from this earthly life into eternal rest, surrounded by the love of family and the promises of her faith.

Charlene was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Evelyn Dave Thomas; her father, James Dave; and her sisters, Georgetta Dave, Sara Dave, and Louetta Bozman.

Charlene's walk with Christ began on Easter Sunday in 1986, when she and her beloved mother were baptized together. From that day forward, her faith became the foundation of her life. She became a faithful member of First Pentecostal of Philadelphia Assembly, where she grew spiritually and faithfully served for many years. When the church later became Imani Christian Church, Charlene remained a devoted member for more than twenty years. In 2018, following her husband Elder Colin Robinson's elevation to Administrative Pastor, Charlene was consecrated as a Deaconess. She embraced her calling with grace, humility, and unwavering dedication, faithfully serving God, her church, and her community.

Charlene was the lead teacher for the Church.

Believing that learning was a lifelong journey, Charlene attended Columbus State Community College, where she earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development. Her love for children inspired her and her husband to open their home, where together they operated a daycare for many years. Their home became a place of love, learning, encouragement, and safety for countless children. Charlene later continued her passion for nurturing young lives as a Lead Teacher at St. Stephen's Community Center, where she faithfully served for many years and touched the lives of countless children and families.

Charlene's heart was bigger than words could ever express. Although she gave birth to one daughter, her love knew no boundaries. Together, Charlene and her husband opened not only their home but also their hearts to many children, raising and loving them as their own. She also found great joy in helping raise her two beloved nieces, Keenay Dalton and Joy Dave, whom she cherished deeply and loved as her own.

Charlene's legacy of love lives on through her devoted husband, Rev. Colin Robinson (Church of God); her loving daughter, Shawnte Dave Price (Larry Price); her niece, Oasia Dave, whom she lovingly raised as her own daughter; her nephew, Tiquan Dave, whom she lovingly raised as her own son. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Michelle (Brenda) Dave, Prophetess Kishia (Asst. Pastor Marshall) Hale, Nancy Dave (Joe White), Tracey Thomas, and Natasha Thomas; her brother, William Thomas; her cherished grandchildren, Emmanuel Price, Heaven Price, Precious Price, Serenity Dave, and Tarie Clarke; her treasured great-grandchildren, Arie Anderson and Lila Anderson; her uncles, Donell (Judy) Thomas and Michael (Suzette) Dave; her aunt, Elizabeth Murphy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

Charlene will forever be remembered for her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, generous heart, and unconditional love. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, faithful Deaconess, dedicated educator, and a friend to many. Her life was a testimony of service, compassion, and grace. Though her earthly journey has ended, the seeds of love she planted will continue to flourish in the lives of those she leaves behind.
