Carolyn Thompson

Carolyn L. Thompson (Durant), age 78, passed away peacefully at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Saturday, July 17, 2021. Carolyn graduated from Columbus East High School in 1961, and retired after a long career at PPG of Delaware, OH. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Eddie & Nannie Durant, and her husband O'Dell "Lovie" Thompson. Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her life; two sons, Dale and Gaelen (Deborah) Durant; along with her beloved grandchildren, Tova (Airregina) Durant, Amber (Jasmund) Pugh, Malachi, Jasmine and Jala Durant; great-grandson, and Jazz Pugh; beloved brothers and sister, Eddie (Jacqueline) Durant, Jr., Michael (Pauline) Durant, and Jacalyn (Denny) Durant-Meade. She also leaves behind a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends. Due to the recent rise of the COVID-19 Delta Variant cases, immediate family and close friends only.
