In Loving Memory of Bruce Lamont Clark

September 4, 1972 – October 8, 2026

Bruce Lamont Clark was born on September 4, 1972, and raised in Columbus, Ohio. A proud Marion-Franklin High School alumnus, Bruce was a hardworking man who worked as an HVAC technician, in the steel industry, and in various warehouse positions throughout his life.  Affectionately known as “The Comeback King” and “Mr. Coming to a Theatre Near You,” Bruce  was truly one of a kind. With his compassionate heart, eccentric personality, unforgettable humor, and larger-than-life presence, he was the life of the party and could brighten anyone’s day. He enjoyed good food, movies, sports, music, and spending time socializing with friends throughout his community.

Above all, Bruce deeply loved his family. His beloved daughters, Bria Clark and Taylor Clark, were the light of his life. He adored his grandchildren, Tylor and Jossiah Clark, Legacy Johnson, and Cordell Jaye Lamont Tolliver. He also leaves behind a host of loving nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his warm hugs, jokes, and the special memories they shared with him.  Bruce was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Fanny Lee Clark & Uncle Paul  Elisha Glass Jr; his paternal grandfather, George Stewart Sr.; and his uncles, George and Rick Stewart.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mary Smith and Aunt Rosa Glass; his paternal grandmother Gloria Stewart, his father, Bruce Stewart; his stepmother, RaMona Stewart; his beloved daughters and grandchildren; his siblings Terrell Jimi Ward, Savannah Brown, Alisha Cherie Foust, Lawanda Stewart, Conita (Lemar) Christian, Richard (Yolanda) Cox, and Marchello Cox; along with a host of extended family members, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Though Bruce’s time on earth has come to an end, his laughter, love, and unforgettable spirit

will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His story was one of resilience, humor, and

love—and his legacy will never be forgotten.
