Beverly A. Belcher

Beverly Ann Belcher, age 83, passed away on November 21, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Beverly was born on May 18, 1942 in Lafayette, LA to Loomis and Nellie Guidry.

She attended and graduated from Holy Rosary Institute in 1960, where she earned Valedictorian of the Class of 1960. Her collegiate studies began at South Louisiana Institute in Lafayette(now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette) but ending at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, LA, where she earned her degree in Pharmacy in 1965.

From there, she began her career as a registered pharmacist for the next 45 years beginning at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA; consequently, she accepted an offer to continue her career in Columbus, OH in 1970. There, she continued her pharmacy career at several locations: Gray Drugs, Segel’s Pharmacy, Rite-Aid Pharmacy and finally retiring from Kroger in 2010.

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul; parents, Loomis and Nellie Guidry, one sister, Marie; in–laws, Sylvester and Jeanette Belcher.

She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Corey( Kathleen) Belcher of Baton Rouge, LA; Damon (Sarah) Belcher of Canal Winchester, OH and Sean( Shannon) Belcher of Delaware, OH; mother-in-law, Margaret Belcher; brother-in-law, Bruce (Willanor); grandchildren, Gianna , Maximus, Roman, Naiyah, Grayson and Emile ; sisters- in- law, Patricia Belcher of Grand Prairie, TX and Sandra Anderson of Cleveland, OH; nephews, Ray (Joy)Belcher of Hollywood, MD and Neale (Linda) Belcher of Cleveland, OH; niece, Elise (Kevin) McKinney of Seattle, WA, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral 11 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2777 E Livingston Ave in Columbus, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 10AM in the vestibule of the church until the time of service at 11:00AM.

Interment will be at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, 8029 E Main St., Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
