Bernice Caslin

Bernice Caslin departed this life Thursday, .April 7, 2016, at the age of 86. Bernice retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse with 40 years of service; she had worked at Ben Franklin TB, St. Anthony, and OSU East Hospitals. Bernice loved Trinity Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the Major Choir, teaching Vacation Bible School; and working in the Food Pantry. Bernice was also a proud alumna of East High School, class of 1948; a 65 year cancer survivor, and was a member of the Reach to Recovery Cancer Society. Bernice was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Leroy Caslin, Sr.; her mother, .Annie Jackson Hogg; and stepfather, Hobert Hogg. Bernice leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Leroy Jr., Eugene, John, Alan (Angela), and stepdaughter, Joyce Richardson; grandchildren, Daryl Lee, Lee Bryan, Patrick, Yvette, Cynthia, Angela. and Aubri; great-grandchildren, Deshawn and Brayden, plus many, many relatives and friends.
