Barbara Jean Robinson

Barbara Robinson, age 89, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019. She was born December 29, 1929 in Topeka Kansas. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Robinson; daughter, Kathryn Cousar; son, Robert T. Robinson; parents, Vernon G. and Kathryn (Booth) Irby; brother, Vernon N. Irby; sisters, Maxine Turner and Jacqueline Seaton; granddaughter, Carla Logan; and grandson Reggie Lucas. Barbara is survived by daughter, Sheryl Turner; sons, Clifton (Cora) Chapman Sr, Byron Chapman, and Dwayne (Anita) Robinson; brother, Raymond (Haroldine) Irby; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother. She helped support our country as a military wife, toting six kids with her across many U.S. Air Force duty stations. She loved to cook, do crossword puzzles, play Yahtzee, Hearts, and was an avid watcher of Jeopardy. Barbara was most happy when she was surrounded by family.
