Barbara Mosel Ghee, born in Kistler, West Virgina, April 10, 1945, to the late Freeman and America (Maskey) Ghee, where she resided until age 2. She and her family then moved to Jacksonville, Ohio where she lived and loved the farm life. At the age of 13 she and her family moved to Columbus, Ohio where she joined the Church of the Living God and gave her life to Christ at the age of 16. She also attended East High School - home of the Tigers.
In her adult life Barbara was employed with the Federal Glass Co., and other businesses before deciding to pursue training in welding at the age of 35. Upon receiving her certification, she secured a position as a welder assembling auto parts and later became a supervisor. She enjoyed sculpting ceramics as a hobby and was blessed to have showcased her creations in beauty salons and boutiques for retail. Barbara believed her greatest accomplishment was being a mother and everything it entailed. As a single mom, she knew where her help and blessings came from, and exemplified this whenever things got tough, "I'm giving it to the Lord" she would always say. At age 65 Barbara joined the First Church of God, and there she remained a member until the Lord called her home, at the age of 80.
