Andrew Jackson Love

Andrew Jackson Love, age 63, went home to the Lord Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Medical Center. A accomplished attorney, Andy received the Juris Doctor degree from the Ohio State University College of Law. A member of the Columbus Bar Association, he was admitted to practice before the Ohio Bar, the Bar of the U.S. District Court, Southern District; the Supreme Court of Ohio; and the United States Supreme Court. His numerous profession accolades include: Assistant Attorney, Office of the Attorney General of Ohio; Ohio Public Defender's Office; Attorney for the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME); he also served as an Ohio University Alumni Board member. Andy was a member of the First Church of God; Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; the Cavaliers Club; and was a board member of the Columbus Cavaliers Brunson Foundation. He was predeceased by his mother, Anna May Love; and father, Leon Love. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 41 years, Rebecca A. Love; children, Damon (Crystal), and Jason Love; grandchildren, Bianca and Jadon; siblings, Elizabeth (Larry) Poole, and James David Love; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
