Allyne China Conwell

Allyne “Ali” Conwell, age 60, passed away on October 19, 2010 at her residence. Ali was a good spirited woman, who was loved by everyone. She was a former employee of Life Care Alliance and a former member of Bethel AME Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Otis Nivins; mother, Anna Gardner; husband, Sammy Lee Conwell Sr. and son, Sammy Lee Conwell Jr. She is survived by sons, Kenneth (Tamiko Caldwell) Nivins and Robert Young Jr.; daughters, Brittany (Richard Simon) Smith and Matla Grisson; grandchildren, Ja’Nay, Nyah, Destiny, Paula Ray, Charmin, Da’Vhantis, Khaz and Kenneth; sisters, Lillie Nivins, Harriett Nivins and Bertha Hicks; great grandchildren, Tishawa and Kadin; special friends, Jacqueline Smith, Myra Bell, Betty Roby, Sherry Lindsey and Laverne McGlothin; stepmother, Emma Simmons; and a host of nieces and nephews.
