Alberta Carey

Alberta Carey, beloved wife of George Carey; loving mother to Lee (Farley) Ward; grandmother, great grand mother and aunt to a host of nieces and nephews, has passed. She was born February 15, 1936 in Moundville, Alabama.  She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Cora Snow; brothers, Lovelle, Fletcher and L.C. Snow and John Coleman; sisters, Gerthabell, Juanita, Ann, and Sadie.  She was a retired school teacher who taught for many years at North High School and more recently East High School.  She was a faithful member of Jordan Bible Church where she served as youth Hour In The Word (aka Sunday School) Teacher, and worked with the Hospitality Ministry.  She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
