Woodie Earl Turner, 63, went home to the Lord on Sunday, May 11, 2014. Preceded in death by parents Eddie and Sarah Turner; brothers Henry Young, Floyd and Larry Turner; niece Cynthia Young; nephew J.T. Russell. He leaves to cherish his memory his only son, Michael Turner; former wife and friend, Alice Philips; brother, Ed Turner; sisters, Pearl Russell, Johnnie Young, Patricia Turner and Debrah Walker; grandchildren, Tajaun Helms, Michael McKay, Zachary, Marenda, Michaela and Mark Turner; great grandson Tajaun Helms, Jr.; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
