Willa Beatrice Clark

July 13, 1927 — September 10, 2018

Willa Beatrice Clark was one of seven children born to the late Rev. Paul and Clara Robinson. She was born on July 13, 1927 in Cedartown, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her two brothers and one sister; Chester Robinson, Daniel Robinson, and Anna Tibbs. She was married to the late Calvin Clark, Sr. Willa accepted Christ at an early age and her faith was evident throughout her life. Willa attended the Columbus Public School System and graduated from South High School. She was employed at the Ohio State University Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist for many years and eventually retired. Willa was known for loving Jesus and became a faithful member of Rhema Christian Center under the leadership of Dr. La Fayette Scales. She was known for her personal devotion, her quiet strength, her warm nature and her laughter. Willa was caring, nurturing, witty and wise. She loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends. Her children will remember her for her love, tolerance and God-given patience. Willa leaves many loved ones to cherish her memory: Four daughters-BabaaRitah Clark, Kathy Clark, Kimberly Clark (Kenneth), and Rhonda Clark; Three sons-Calvin Clark, Jr. (Sharon), Paul Clark, and James Clark; Four sisters-Elizabeth Burks, Pauline White, Wilma Robinson, and Lena Robinson; One brother-Smith Robinson (Lily); 16 grandchildren-Michelle Christian (Anthony), Liora Baht Israel, Latonia David (Lamonte), Calvin Clark, III (Angela), Darrell Clark, Sharmoan Clark, Jawanza Coleman, Chanell Clark-Bibbs, Jamel Dargin, Akillah Clark, Paul Clark, Jr. Nevin Clark, Gary Clark, Adrianne Clark, James Clark, Jr., Morinda Booth, Danielle Keyes (deceased); a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
