She is survived by her daughters Terry Lee Riley and Jerry Louise (Steven) Tate; sister Mildred Ringer-Tynes; brother Marvin (Ola Mae) Bibb; daughter-in-law Renee Riley; sister-in-law Louise (Bert) Larke of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren Willie Lee Moore, Tanya Renee Tate, Steven A. Thelma has been a member of Hosack Baptist Church since she was a young girl. While married to John, an Air Force Master Sargent, she lived in several cities, along with two years in Germany. During those two years the family visited France, Holland and Austria. She worked for Lazarus Department store as a Master Tailor for 20+ years, and taught upholstery classes before retiring to enjoy gardening, sitting on her back porch, and having family picnics, birthdays and gatherings under the tree out back with lots of food, laughter and love. Mom, we love and miss you. A few sayings to bring back the memories- “See ya later alligator. After a while crocodile!” “And the thing of it is…….” “How’s your liver and onions?” And we can’t forget our favorite, Jerry Louise in the back seat of the car saying, “That clock says Coo Coo!” repeatedly.
