Rosa Bell Blair was born on November 3, 1924 in Huntington, West Virginia. She departed this life on December 13, 2013 at Grant Medical Center. She always loved helping her mother do things on the Farm. She loved to ride horses and fishing with her sisters. Her mother was her pride and joy as a child. As a child, she took up bowling, fishing and baking. As an adult she loved to vacation and especially liked going on cruises. Rosa started the family tradition of family reunions. She would host family cook outs. It was a wonderful time and the family always had fun in her backyard. She would always have a smile on her face from the time spent with family. She received her diploma and went to school to become a private investigator. She also later worked with the Government at DCSC in Columbus, Ohio. She was involved in the NAACP and became a mason to help build a foundation for the future. She loved being a mother, grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by mother, Gladys Gorden; husband, Carl Washington; daughter, Lucille A. Snow; sisters, Mary Brown and Alma Scott. She is survived by brother, Frank Jackson; grandchildren, Carl Blair, Frances Blair Williams, Rochelle Washington, Chris Washington; great grandchildren, Fredricka, Ronald, Nikkie, Tramaine, Dustin, Jerrell, Jerome, Kenneth, Angel, Kesha, Mark, Shay, Ebony; 20 great great grandchildren and special nephew, Fredrick Moore, Sr.
