Ronald Leon “Boo” Taylor, Jr., 50, a loving gift to all who knew him, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, June 9, 2012. He was born May 28, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio; son of Dorothy L. Taylor the late Ronald Leon Taylor Sr. He attended Brookhaven High School and was baptized at Union Grove Baptist Church under the late Rev. Phale D. Hale. As a youth, he played football, basketball, and baseball. “Boo” as Ronald was affectionately known, was a loving, happy and caring man that would keep you laughing. He shared his love and joy with everyone he met. He was a dedicated husband and father to his children, especially his “baby girls.” He was always laughing and joking with them and was always there for them. “Boo” was a loving son and brother, he shared that same love and joy with them as well. His Mother appreciated that love. Not only was “Boo” dedicated to his immediate family but also to his extended family, especially, Mrs. Blunt. He was there every Sunday eating and having fun with his life-long friends. His friends and associates were endless. It’s not hard to describe “Boo.” He was a stout built man that enjoyed wearing jogging suits, and loved sports. His favorite team was The Ohio State Buckeyes. You might have seen him at anytime outside cleaning his SUV. He never met a stranger, and he would always keep you laughing. “Boo” left a legacy of joy and love to his wife, children, mother, family and friends. We will always cherish the memories that we have of him. His love and his free heart will not be forgotten. He will be missed by his wife Kimothy M. Taylor; daughters, Kyla Kendra Taylor; step-sons, Devin Wheat, Louis Berry, Alonzo, Justin Jordan Edmonds; mother, Dorothy L. Taylor, sister, Kim Wright; brothers, Michael (Belinda) Wright Robert Taylor; mother-in-Law, Deborah Wheat of Chicago, Illinois; special uncle and aunt, Cornelius and Les Wright; life-long friends, Steven Stacy Blunt and Jeff Hull; special friends, Ms. Zona Glass and Ms. Berniece Mosby, and many relatives and friends.
