Kenneth Lee Penson

Kenneth L. Penson, 60, suddenly Friday, April 15, 2011 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Columbus, Ohio and a retired employee of General Motors. His father, Eddie Penson, Sr., preceded him in death. Survived by loving wife of 18 years, Nettia Lynn Penson; mother Charlene Penson; daughters, Angel Penson, Kendra Penson, and Audrea Robinson, all of Columbus; sons, Charles Robinson, Darrell Tolbert, Jimmie (Crystal) Tolbert, and Terry (Danah) Tolbert, all of Columbus; brothers, Gary Penson and Eddie Penson, Jr.; sisters, Diane Reese, Brenda (Donald) Gatewood, and Donna Jean Royale, all of Columbus; mother-in-law Rossie (Harry) Bathea of Alabama; brothers-in-law, David Loman, Oliver Loman, of New Jersey, James Loman of New York, and Henry (Pearl) Loman of Alabama; sisters-in-law, Gail Jones of Florida, Kathy (Terry) Brown of Alabama, Louann (Glenn) Curtis of Columbus, Phyllis Mitchell of Alabama, and Sheila (Al) Blaylock of Florida; family forever kids, Yolanda Ingle, Aquella Turner, Patrice Turner, and Cathy Turner; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 2 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2011 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long Street, where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until start of service. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
