Kelli Rebecca Smith was born July 19, 1976 in Columbus, Ohio. She departed this life Sunday, March 4, 2012. At young age, she moved to San Diego, California where she was actively involved with Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Church. She participated in Pathfinders and attended Sabbath School as well as various youth meetings. Kelli loved to sing and enjoyed doing hair. As an adult, Kelli moved back to Columbus and, in October 2005, she graduated from the Ohio State School of Cosmetology. She was her grandmother's hairstylist and enjoyed a career as a successful beautician. Kelli found joy in helping people look their best. Kelli is predeceased by her grandfather Ollie L.E. Hardin. She is survived by her mother Rachael Hardin Kennedy; father Thomas E. Smith; stepfather Eddie J. Kennedy; sister Kenyata R. Smith; stepsisters Yovonna Kennedy and Tanisha Neely; grandmother Mary F. Hardin; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
