Genevieve Mary Dumas

Genevieve Mary Griffin-Dumas, age 85, was born May 23, 1927. She passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Monday, December 24, 2012 at Isabelle Ridgway Care Center. A member of Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church. Retired from The Ohio State University. Preceded in death by parents, Antonio Johnson and Martha Austin; husband, Ernest Dumas; son, Bernard Griffin; brother, Antonio Johnson and sister, Evelyn Cornelius. Survived and will greatly be missed by sister, Cheryl (Richard) White; son, Dwight (Tonya) Griffin; daughters, Ernestine, Marlene (Robert) Boffman, of Richmond, TX and Darlene Dumas; grandchildren, Yvonne Dumas, Tamika Crews, Sean Boffman, of Richmond, TX, Jasmine Newman, Bernard Jr. and Cynceria of Atlanta, GA; great granddaughter, Harmoni Griffin; devoted adopted daughter, Nina Billue; special and dear friend of the family, Janis Madison; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
