Demarco Moorer

DEMARCO MOORER, age thirty, received his wings on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. He was born Thursday, March 18, 1993, in Columbus, Ohio, to Tony Fisher and Carol Moorer. “Marco,” the name used by his family and close friends, earned his GED in 2013 and his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in 2021. Marco was employed with Rumpke Waste & Recycle. In his leisure time, Marco enjoyed playing basketball, taking care of his dogs, and relaxing with the family.

Marco was preceded in death by his wife, Ciera Webster; father, Tony Fisher; grandfather, Charlie Moorer; and brother, Javon Starghill.

Marco leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Carol; daughters, Ajaviah, DeMarie, and DeMirah; sons, DeMarco and DeMario; siblings, Dempsey (Pearlie Morris) Calhoun, Ja’Quan McCoffin, and Tonnesha McCoffin; uncles, Charles Moorer, Carl Moorer, and Michael Fisher; aunts, Claresa (Glenn Saunders) Moorer and Joann (Greg Richardson) Fisher; grandparents, Clara Moorer and Mr. & Mrs. Fisher; a host of aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many special friends.
